Recommended for epoxies, phenolics, polyesters, polyamides, polybismaleimides, plus many rubbers and elastomers.
Zyvax WaterShield is a versatile, water-based semi-permanent release coating designed for most moulding operations where you need multiple releases and a high-gloss, high-slip finish without using flammable solvent-based products. It is recommended for releasing a wide range of materials including epoxies, phenolics, polyester resins, polyamides, polybismaleimides, and various rubbers and elastomers, and can also be used on moulds exposed to wear or abrasion during moulding and demoulding. For best results, remove residues/waxes/oils with a Zyvax mould and part cleaner and ensure the mould is properly sealed with a Zyvax mould sealer before applying WaterShield.
