More Than Equipment Supply - Active Technical Support
Supplying equipment is the starting point, not the end point. MVP UK & Ireland has technical personnel with direct composite manufacturing experience, and we use that experience throughout the equipment lifecycle, from initial installation through to long-term process optimisation.
Commissioning & Set-Up
Our technicians attend your site to install and configure new equipment to the correct process parameters for your materials and application. This is included as standard with all new equipment and is not an optional extra.
Operator Application Training
Hands-on training for production operatives covering correct spray technique, material preparation and flushing, routine equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and recognising common faults. Delivered at the point of commissioning and available as standalone refresher sessions.
Process Troubleshooting
When production outcomes change - inconsistent laminate quality, spray pattern issues, equipment faults - our technical team can assist remotely or attend on-site to diagnose and resolve the problem. This service is available for all equipment we supply, regardless of when it was purchased.

What Happens on Commissioning Day
Every new equipment installation follows a structured commissioning process. The objective is to leave your facility with equipment running correctly, operators trained and confident, and a clear point of contact for any follow-up questions.
Pre-visit preparation
We confirm your materials, resin system, application requirements and any site-specific constraints before attending. This ensures the visit is productive from the outset and that any specialist components are brought.
Installation and mechanical set-up
Equipment is installed, connected and configured. All fluid paths, air supplies, ratio settings and spray parameters are set to the correct starting values for your specific materials and application.
Test runs and calibration
The equipment is run with your materials. Output, pattern quality, ratio accuracy and consistency are verified. Adjustments are made until the process is performing correctly.
Operator handover and training
With the equipment running correctly, we deliver hands-on application training for your operatives - covering technique, daily maintenance routines, flushing, safety and fault recognition. Operatives handle the equipment throughout this session.
Documentation and follow-up contact
Follow-up calls or visits are available if needed.
INCLUDED AS STANDARD
Site visit by a factory-trained technical specialist
Full mechanical installation and fluid system set-up
Ratio and spray pattern verification with your materials
Hands-on operator application training
Daily maintenance and flushing procedure demonstration
Safety briefing for the specific equipment type
Equipment settings record left on-site
Named technical contact for follow-up queries
Three Ways to Access Application Training
Training is available at the time of commissioning and independently for existing equipment. The format depends on what you need and at what stage.
On-Site Commissioning Training
Delivered at your facility at the point of installation. Operatives are trained on the actual equipment in their working environment, using your materials and applying to your tooling.
Best for new installations, new equipment replacing existing machinery, or when a full process review is needed alongside the training. Included with all new equipment supply.
Standalone Training Visits
Booked independently of a new installation. A technical specialist visits your facility to deliver training on equipment already in service – for new starters, refresher sessions or after a staff change.
Best for induction of new operatives, addressing quality issues that may be technique-related, or bringing a wider team up to a consistent standard on existing equipment.
In-House Demonstrations at MVP
Delivered at MVP facilities using dedicated demo equipment and controlled setups, led by technical specialists to demonstrate correct techniques and optimise application performance.
Best for evaluating equipment prior to investment, refining processes, or training key personnel in a focused environment without disrupting production.

Getting Training Scheduled
For new equipment, commissioning and training are arranged as part of the order and delivery process. For existing equipment, a training visit can be requested at any time.
Contact the technical team
Call or email MVP UK & Ireland to describe the equipment involved, the training requirement and your location. For new equipment this happens as part of the order process.
Confirm requirements
We will confirm the specific equipment, the materials in use, who will be attending the training, and any site access requirements. For commissioning visits, we discuss pre-installation preparation.
Schedule the visit
A date is agreed to suit your production schedule. We will confirm who will attend from our side and what you should have prepared - materials, tooling and operators present.
Training delivered on-site
The technician attends your facility and delivers the commissioning or training session. Operators work with the equipment hands-on throughout.
Follow-up access
After the visit, your team has a named technical contact for any questions that arise. Further visits, remote assistance and additional training sessions can be arranged as needed.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Training is most effective when the right people are in the room. Here is who we recommend is present for different training types.
Production operatives
Essential for application training. All operatives who will use the equipment should attend the hands-on session, not just one representative.
Maintenance personnel
Strongly recommended for commissioning visits and maintenance-focused sessions. The maintenance team benefits from understanding equipment strip-down, adjustment and service intervals first-hand.
Production supervisor or manager
Useful for understanding process parameters, quality benchmarks and the basis on which adjustments should be made. Helps to embed correct practice after our visit.
New starters
Standalone training visits can be timed to coincide with new staff joining the production team, to ensure new operatives start with the correct technique rather than inheriting habits from colleagues.
We Stay Involved After The Sale
Commissioning and initial training are not the end of MVP UK & Ireland’s involvement. Our technical team remains available throughout the working life of the equipment – for fault diagnosis, process queries and further training as your team or production requirements change.
Remote technical assistance
Technical queries handled by telephone or email. Our team can assist with fault diagnosis, process setting questions and material compatibility questions without requiring a site visit where the issue permits it.
On-site troubleshooting visits
Where a production issue cannot be resolved remotely, a technician attends your site. This covers equipment faults, changes in laminate quality, spray pattern problems and any situation where the process is not performing as expected.
Refresher and additional training
Training visits can be rebooked at any time — for new starters, after a period of quality issues, following a change in materials, or simply to consolidate technique across an expanded team.
Spare parts guidance
Advice on recommended spare parts holding for your specific equipment, wear item identification, and sourcing of replacement components. Discussed at commissioning and available on request thereafter.
