Chemlease PMR MS EU Release Agent is a semi‑permanent, medium‑slip mould release for composite parts, formulated to maximise releases between applications while maintaining a Class A high‑gloss mould surface. Apply 3–5 thin wipe‑on/wipe‑off coats with ≥15 min between coats and 30 min final cure. Conventional sealers aren’t needed except on very porous tools.
Chemlease PMR MS EU Release Agent is designed for composite moulding where you want a semi‑permanent, medium‑slip release that helps maximise the number of parts between re-application while maintaining a Class A, high‑gloss mould surface, particularly useful for complex geometries and repeat production cycles. For best results, start with thorough mould cleaning to remove wax, release, sealer and polishing residues, using an appropriate Chemlease® mould cleaner for the final clean. In most cases, a conventional mould sealer is not required. However, if the tool is very porous (such as tooling board or 3D printed substrates), apply an appropriate Chemlease® mould primer before the release agent.

DESCRIPTION
|---|---|
Medium slip that maximises releases between applications
Formulated to maximise the number of moulded parts between re-application, making it a strong general-purpose choice across composite moulding workflows.
Maintains Class A, high‑gloss mould surface
Helps release complex-shaped parts while maintaining a Class A high-gloss mould surface finish.
Quick, easy wipe‑on / wipe‑off application
Designed to be easy and fast to apply using a wipe-on/wipe-off method, supporting efficient mould prep and maintenance.
Reduces labour time and costs
Engineered to help reduce labour time and costs by simplifying the release process and extending use between applications.
High temperature stability
Offers high temperature stability to support demanding composite moulding conditions.
Less reliance on conventional sealers (where appropriate)
TDS guidance indicates no conventional mould sealer is required for typical tools; only very porous substrates (e.g., tooling boards/3D printed) should be treated with a suitable Chemlease® mould primer first.
