Chemlease A880 Semi Permanent Release Agent is a rapid-curing semi-permanent mould release for composites, plastics and phenolic resins. It delivers high slip, high thermal stability and multiple releases between applications. Apply a light wipe or spray film in 3–5 coats, curing at least 10 minutes between coats and 30 minutes after the final coat (instant cure at ≥120°C). Touch up as needed.
Chemlease A880 Semi Permanent Release Agent is applied as a semi‑permanent mould release in composites, plastics and phenolic resin moulding. For best results thoroughly clean the mould (remove wax, release agents and sealers), cleaning with Chemlease® Mold Cleaner EZ, and applying Chemlease® 15 Sealer EZ on new or porous moulds. Apply a light wipe-on or spray film, then do not wipe off. Allow it to dry and cure for a minimum of 10 minutes. Build 3–5 coats, allow 30 minutes final cure before moulding (with instant cure at ≥120°C), and apply a light touch-up coat as required, extending final cure time or heating the mould can further enhance release performance.
