Chemlease 15 Sealer EZ

Chemlease 15 Sealer EZ is a high‑performance mould sealer that conditions and seals tool surfaces, reduces porosity and acts as a base coat for release agents. Compatible with fibreglass, aluminium, steel and most dense surfaces, it shortens break‑in time and offers high temperature stability. Apply 1 coat on seasoned tools or 2 on new moulds (15 min between), then cure 1 hour before release.

Applications

Mould Sealer FibreglassAluminiumSteel

Chemlease 15 Sealer EZ is used as a mould-conditioning sealer on new, porous (“green”) or reconditioned tooling to reduce micro‑porosity and create a stable foundation before applying semi‑permanent release agents or topcoats. It’s well suited to common tooling substrates – fibreglass, aluminium, steel and other dense surfaces – where improved surface sealing can shorten break‑in and simplify routine mould preparation. In practical use, most seasoned moulds typically need one coat, while new/green moulds often benefit from two coats (with cure time between coats and a full cure before applying the release system), helping establish a durable base layer that supports more consistent release performance.
