Chemlease PMR LS EU Release Agent is intended for composite moulding workflows , particularly gelcoat processes, where controlling slip is important to reduce the risk of gelcoat pre-release and support consistent surface quality. It’s especially useful when your process relies on temporary adhesion of fine-line masking, bag sealant or double-sided tapes, and when producing flat or concave parts that require a high-gloss finish. For best results apply 5–7 wipe-on/wipe-off coats, allow at least 15 minutes between coats, and cure 30 minutes after the final coat before gelcoat application, layup, or moulding. Reapply coats as needed when release becomes difficult. On porous tooling (e.g., tooling boards or 3D-printed substrates), a suitable Chemlease mould primer is recommended prior to application.
