Zyvax Sealer GP is a solvent-based mould sealer that creates a clear, high‑modulus protective film with strong adhesion. It seals micro‑porosity, restores vacuum integrity and provides the base for optimal semi‑permanent release performance. Apply wipe‑on/wipe‑dry in 4 coats, 15 min between, then wait 30 min before applying release. Thermal stability to 480°C.
Zyvax Sealer GP is used as a solvent-based mould sealer/conditioner to prepare new, repaired, or porous tooling by treating bonding sites on “raw” mould surfaces and creating a protective film that supports consistent release performance. It is particularly useful where tools show micro‑porosity, where you want to restore vacuum integrity, or where repairs/patches require a uniform surface before applying a semi‑permanent release agent. In use, remove waxes/oils/residues with a suitable Zyvax mould/part cleaner, then apply Sealer GP to small areas using a lint‑free cloth or paper towel and wipe dry while still wet; allow ≥15 minutes between coats and wait ≥30 minutes after the final coat before applying your chosen release agent. Store sealed between 5°C and 30°C, keep from freezing, and note it is moisture-sensitive, so containers should be kept tightly closed when not in use.

Protective, High‑Modulus Film with Strong Adhesion
Creates a clear, flexible protective shield with superior substrate adhesion, conditioning “raw” mould surfaces for consistent performance.
Seals Micro‑Porosity & Removes New‑Mould Break‑In
Helps overcome micro‑porosity and eliminate break‑in time on new tools, supporting faster start-up and more repeatable results.
Restores Uniform Tooling After Repair
Can restore a uniform surface over repairs/patches, improving readiness for release coating and reducing variability across the tool.
Restores Vacuum Integrity
Designed to restore vacuum integrity, supporting vacuum-bagging/infusion style tooling performance where leaks or porosity are issues.
High Thermal Stability & Detail Retention
Offers thermal stability to 480°C (900°F) and is formulated to retain mould detail and finish.
Compatible Base for All Release Agents
Can be used with all release agents, providing the base needed to extend release-coating life and support optimal release performance.
